Sick days insurance enables the employer to insure himself against the unexpected results of sickness or accident to one of the workers, as the law or general labor agreements require and even more than that required .

- Flexibility exists in selection of the length of the waiting period and the length of the compensation period .
- In the case of a work accident, compensation is given for the first 12 days in accordance with the liability of the employer .
- The plan is permitted for deduction for tax purposes up to 2.8% of salary .
